Before I start, World Octopus Day is actually October 8th. I'm just prepairing you all so you might celebrate these amazing creatures when the time comes. 

 

Simply, this infographic shows some facts about the octopus. During this project my focus was all the time on working hands on. And also working with limited material and time. It's a 3D installation translated in to a 2D infphograpic. The installation was build in one day, hanging from a 3 meter high ceiling. The arms of the octopus are 2 to 3 meter long. 

 

The infographic gives a misterious impression and creates an atmosphere that you could find deep under the sea level. After 1 minute looking at the image you can say I've learned something new. After today you can say; An actopus has 3 hearts. Which she needs I quess, if she can lay up to 10.000 eggs.
