This book shows bookbinding and graphic skills. The book contains colour swatches, pictures and collages that are all removeble. Like this the colours are easy to compare. You can see what differences arise when certain settings of the colour systems are changed (like the percentenge of light- or blackness). 

 

It will take you through a digital colour journey of 10 weeks. The book explains how to read and match colours with the help of the Natural Colour System and LAB system. 

 

The Catherina Palace  based in Russia is the starting point of the research. The colours of the facade and the garden surrounding the palace were an inspiration for me.
